What Are Side Effects Associated with Using Berdazimer Topical?
Common side effects of Berdazimer Topical include:
- pain
- swelling
- burning
- breakdown of the outer layer of the skin (erosion)
- stinging
- lightening or darkening of the skin
- redness
- blisters
- itching
- irritation
- peeling or flaking
- infection
- itchy, dry skin rash

Rare side effects of Berdazimer Topical include:

Seek medical care or call 911 at once if you have the following serious side effects:
- Severe headache, confusion, slurred speech, arm or leg weakness, trouble walking, coordination loss, unsteady, very stiff muscles, high fever, profuse sweating, or tremors.
- Serious eye symptoms such as sudden vision loss, blurred vision, tunnel vision, eye pain or swelling, or seeing halos around lights.
- Serious heart symptoms include fast, irregular, or pounding heartbeats; fluttering in the chest; shortness of breath; sudden dizziness, lightheadedness, or passing out.

Cautions
- Application site reactions
- Application site reactions, including allergic contact dermatitis, reported
- Suspect allergic contact dermatitis if pain, pruritus, swelling, or erythema occurs at the application site lasting more than 24 hours
- If allergic contact dermatitis occurs, discontinue gel, and initiate appropriate therapy
