David W. Stein, MD, is a practicing internist and cardiologist in Illinois.

Stein graduated from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. He then completed his residency in internal medicine and his fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the University of Oregon Medical Center, Portland, Ore.

Stein is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Chest Physicians, and the American College of Physicians. He is also a member of the American Medical Association and a member of the board of directors for the American Heart Association.
