Dr. Cole is board certified in dermatology. He obtained his BA degree in bacteriology, his MA degree in microbiology, and his MD at the University of California, Los Angeles. He trained in dermatology at the University of Oregon, where he completed his residency.
Dr. Cole was on the faculty of the University of California, Irvine, for over 25 years and was a full-time employee at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Long Beach, Calif. He has authored more than 30 articles in various medical journals. His main interests are infectious diseases of the skin and contact dermatitis. He currently works part-time in dermatology.
