Gus Gialamas, MD, FACS
Dr. Gus Gialamas received his Bachelor's degree at Pepperdine University, and his Medical Doctorate at The University of Health Science-Chicago Medical School. He then completed a research fellowship at Harrington Arthritis research center in Phoenix, Arizona. His core general surgical internship was completed at the University of California San Francisco. He completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of California San Francisco in 1992. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons as well as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Since his completion of training he moved to San Clemente, California, where he started clinical practice of Orthopedic Surgery. He is on active staff at San Clemente Hospital and has served as chairman of Orthopedic Surgery and currently serves as Chief of Surgery. He is also on active staff at Mission Hospital and Children's Hospital, both in Mission Viejo, California.
