Jim Morelli, MS, RPh

Jim Morelli, registered pharmacist, has worked in television news for more than 10 years, most recently as a reporter and fill-in anchor at WCVB in Boston. Morelli's television career began at CNN as an associate producer for The Airport Network. Within a few months he moved to an anchor/writer position at CNN Headline News. Morelli eventually switched to local news, becoming a general assignment reporter for WGCL in Atlanta.

Morelli's pharmacy career began at a neighborhood drug store in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He eventually worked for a hospital and two large chain pharmacies. He also served as a regulatory affairs associate for a pharmaceutical company, preparing New Drug Applications, and spent several years working as a poison control specialist.

Morelli is a published author. His book, Poison! How To Handle The Hazardous Substances In Your Home was featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show.

Morelli holds a B.S. from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Allied Health in Boston and an M.S. in civil engineering from Tufts University. He is registered as a pharmacist in the state of Georgia.

He splits his time between Boston and Atlanta.
