KEITH E. STUART, MD

Dr. Keith E. Stuart, MD is a medical oncologist specializing in the study and treatment of cancers involving the gastrointestinal tract, with a special interest in tumors involving the liver. He was educated at Harvard University (graduating magna cum laude) and Albert Einstein College of Medicine and did his medical training at the New England Deaconess Hospital. He is a professor of medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine and for many years was the director of the Hepatobiliary and Gastrointestinal Malignancy Program at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. Currently, he serves as chairman of the Department of Hematology and Oncology at Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington, Massachusetts. He has published widely in many peer-reviewed medical journals, and his research interests include investigations into new chemotherapy and biotherapy options for patients with cancers of the liver, pancreas, and colon, as well as neuroendocrine tumors. Dr. Stuart is most widely known for studying innovative local and minimally invasive treatments of cancers involving the liver.
