Dr. Kendall Ho obtained his medical degree at the University of British Columbia, Canada. He continued his residency training at McGill University, Montreal, Canada and was subsequently certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada as a fellow in Emergency Medicine. He is currently an attending staff at the Department of Emergency Medicine of the Vancouver Hospital and Health Sciences Centre, Vancouver, B.C. He is also the Director of Continuing Medical Education in that department. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of the Universtiy of British Columbia. He has a special interest in the application of computer and Internet in medicine, and is the Internet section editor of the Journal of Emergency Medicine. His research and medical writing interests include asthma, acute pain management, acute ankle injuries, complications of alcohol misuse, and medical informatics. He is also actively involved in medical conference organization.
