
Dr. Sherman received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1999. After receiving his undergraduate degree, Dr. Sherman was accepted into the research fellowship program at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. There he was involved in research examining the molecular basis for atherosclerosis. After the fellowship program, Dr. Sherman was accepted into Tufts School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Sherman was an honor student while in dental school achieving high marks on both national board examinations. Following dental school, Dr. Sherman was accepted into the postgraduate endodontic program at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Sherman has authored an article on dental anesthetics in the Journal of Endodontics.
Dr. Sherman is currently in private practice in the field of endodontics in San Diego's North County. He participates in several study clubs and provides continuing education credits on endodontics with lectures to general dentists in the San Diego area. Dr. Sherman has been voted top dentist, endodontist, by his peers from 2007 to 2011.
