Nivin C.S. Todd, MD, received a BA in psychology from Emory University and a BS in biology from Southwest Missouri State University. She returned to Emory University to get a Master of Public Health degree. Afterward, Dr. Todd attended Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, GA, where she received her medical degree in 1997. She completed her 4-year residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. During her 4th year she served as chief resident. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and has been named one of America's Top Obstetricians & Gynecologists by the Consumers' Research Council of America.
She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, the Tennessee Medical Association, and the Hamilton County Medical Society, and she serves on the Obstetrics Advisory Board of Erlanger East Medical Center.
