Robert Ferry Jr., MD, FAAP

Robert Ferry Jr., MD, FAAP, is a U.S. board-certified pediatric endocrinologist. After taking his baccalaureate degree from Yale College, then receiving his doctoral degree and residency training in pediatrics at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA), Dr. Ferry completed fellowship training in pediatric endocrinology at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. He currently serves on the adjunct faculty of the University of Memphis. He previously served full-time on the medical school faculty for the University of California at Los Angeles, UTHSCSA, and the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Dr. Ferry's research has focused on pediatric diabetes and growth disorders. Among many leadership roles, he has served as medical director of pediatric endocrine services for major children's hospitals. An active member of the Endocrine Society and other professional organizations, Dr. Ferry is a dynamic speaker who has presented in national forums at the invitation of the NIH, U.S. Department of Defense, State of Texas, Iraqi Ministry of Health, and countless community groups. A veteran of multiple overseas deployments, Dr. Ferry holds a reserve commission as colonel in the Army National Guard of the U.S.
