TSE-LING FONG, MD

Dr. Fong is the Medical Director of the USC Liver Transplant Program and Associate Professor of Medicine at the USC Keck School of Medicine. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Southern California and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center. He completed a Hepatology fellowship at the USC Liver Unit under the tutelage of Dr. Allan Redeker and Dr. Telfer Reynolds. He also completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center. Dr Fong was a Clinical Associate with the Liver Diseases Section at the National Institutes of Health. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and the subspecialty of Gastroenterology. He was a full-time faculty at the USC Liver Unit at Rancho Los Amigos Medical Center and Assistant Professor of Medicine at USC School of Medicine from 1991-1996. He was Associate Director of Hepatology and Associate Medical Director of Liver Transplant at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center between 1996 and 2001. Dr. Fong has over 40 peer-reviewed publications in the area of viral hepatitis, liver transplantation and other areas of liver diseases. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and members of the American Association for the Study of Liver Disease and Western Society for Clinical Investigation.
