Common side effects of Choline Magnesium Trisalicylate include:
- upset stomach
- heartburn
- nausea
- vomiting
- diarrhea
- constipation
- dizziness
- drowsiness
- lack of energy
- headache
Serious side effects of Choline Magnesium Trisalicylate include:
- chest painweakness
- shortness of breath
- slurred speech
- problems with vision or balance
- sudden numbness or weakness, especially on one side of the body
- bloody or tarry stools
- coughing up blood or vomit that looks like coffee grounds
- blood in the urine, urinating more or less than usual
- hearing problems, ringing in the ears
- severe stomach pain, ongoing nausea or vomiting, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes)
- easy bruising or bleeding, unusual weakness
- fast or pounding heartbeats, light-headedness
Rare side effects of Choline Magnesium Trisalicylate include:
- none
Seek medical care or call 911 at once if you have the following serious side effects:
- Severe headache, confusion, slurred speech, arm or leg weakness, trouble walking, coordination loss, unsteady, very stiff muscles, high fever, profuse sweating, or tremors.
- Serious eye symptoms such as sudden vision loss, blurred vision, tunnel vision, eye pain or swelling, or seeing halos around lights.
- Serious heart symptoms include fast, irregular, or pounding heartbeats; fluttering in the chest; shortness of breath; sudden dizziness, lightheadedness, or passing out.

- 750 mg (440 mg choline salicylate, 544 mg magnesium salicylate)
- 1000 mg (587 mg choline salicylate, 725 mg magnesium salicylate)
Adult dosage
- 1000-3000 mg orally every 8-12 hours
Geriatric dosage
- 750 mg orally every 8 hours

- 500-1500 mg orally every 8-12 hours
Mild to moderate pain
Pediatric dosage
- Children weighing below 37 kg: 50 mg/kg orally divided every 12 hours.

- 1000-1500 mg orally every 12 hours.

- Children weighing below 37 kg: 50 mg/kg orally divided every 12 hours.

Contraindications
- Absolute: Bleeding disorders, chronic advanced renal insufficiency, gastrointestinal (GI) hemorrhage, hemorrhagic diathesis, salicylate allergy
- Relative: Erosive gastritis, GI ulcer, NOS

Cautions
- Anemia, gout, hepatic function impairment, hypertension, hypoprothrombinemia, nasal polyps, renal function impairment, thyrotoxicosis, vitamin K deficiency
- Use of salicylates in pediatric patients with varicella or influenza-like illness is associated with increased incidence of Reye's Syndrome
Pregnancy and Lactation
- Use with caution if the benefits outweigh the risks during pregnancy; use in LIFE-THREATENING emergencies when no safer drug is available if used for prolonged periods or near term
- Lactation
- Excreted in human breast milk; adverse effect on the nursing infant
