Just realized I needed some help, been very moody, tired and waking up every hour at night. My OB is a lifesaver and recommend this drug which has been so far amazing, only been a week but I immediately felt better mentally and have more energy also sleeping much better. I’m hoping this continues!
We are very happy with Bijuva. I am sleeping really well, so fatigue vanished after a month, my hip joints no longer hurt while in bed and my physical desire is back to normal. Since my energy came back, so did the exercise and eating well. No weight gain...yet, but seriously, having my life again is worth a few pounds. No hair loss. I love that it is bio identical and not a synthetic. Whatever you do, find what works for your body. Good luck! :)
I've been on Bijuva for 3 weeks now , at the beginning was taking daily but was causing me bloating and slight headache so started to take 2nd daily and most important take it when going to sleep....working fantastic; bloating gone!...hot flushes almost gone and feeling fantastic
Been on it for 2 months, feeling low more than normal, weight gain (craving sugar all the time) it hasn’t helped with hot flushes or lethargy. I’m 50 peri menopausal and probably shouldn’t have been prescribed by a paid gynae menopause specialist as after research it says it’s for post menopausal women. I’m coming off it today after reading many comments are the same, I struggle with weight in general, I can’t afford to put it on so for this reason I’m coming off
I am 60 Years young -very active, very athletic. Last period was march 2012. Started Bijuva 7 days ago. I am having cramps and back aches as if I were on a period! I wanted some HRT to relieve painful intercourse, however I will not continue with this and look for alternative hrt.
Hot flashes are gone but having very heavy and painful periods lasting over a week
Have been taking Bijuva about 2 years. It has been a life saver feeling for me. Took away major fatigue, helped with sleep, hot flashes gone, aches lessened, and vaginal thinning and dryness improved! Highly recommend it! Others say weight gain bit for me getting my strength back to exercise more helped me to not gain! Felt like my old self again! ????????????????????
Sudden onset hot flashes had me in misery. About every hour. Lab work confirmed I had zero hormones in my body at age 51. I asked doc to do what she would do for herself. Within a few doses, hot flashes stopped. Hallelujah. No more painful intercourse. Fast forward a year, I had to see doc for a renewal. The med didn’t show up (mail order). I decided to see how it goes without it. Three weeks later I realized the headache I woke up with every morning, the fatigue and listlessness, and the weight gain (15#) were quite probably due to this medication. Haven’t had a headache since I’ve stopped it, feel alert, and have lost 11 pounds. Hot flashes are definitely still there but very light- like short simmer instead of full boil. Haven’t had sex since, but will have some remedy on hand in case of pain.
It’s a miracle. I suffered with hot flashes for 3 years - 3 to 8 a night. It has changed my life.
I have been taking bijuva for 9 months. It has helped with general brain fog. It has also caused me to lose a few pounds and generally look better.
I started Bijuva to control hot flashes. I haven't had any hot flashes since I started about 5 weeks ago. It's such a relief. However, for the last 6 days I've had a headache and also occasional malaise with the headache. It's more of a nagging headache now. I very rarely have headaches so I will stop taking the medication to see if my headache stops. If so, I may end up choosing hot flashes over a nagging headache. Other than that, it's been great.
This has stopped my average of 12 a day hot flushes and in turn, I’m not waking up every hour so my sleep has improved. My joints are sore very rarely now and even following running, they are fine (knee, hips were regularly painful before). I am tired, not so much yawning all the time but just feel a bit groggy at times and I’ve noticed a regular headache in the last six weeks or so when I’ve never had headaches before. Weirdly, it seems to originate behind my right ear and sometimes affects my whole head. This is when I’m more likely to feel groggy. I’ve been on bijuve for 4 months now. I’d say it took a good month for hot flushes to stop completely but then I’d been without oestrogen for about 18 months and I believe the longer you’re without, the longer it takes for a response. I’ve always been on the slim side and I’d say I’d started to gain weight around my stomach and thighs in the run up to starting bijuve but I feel like I’ve lost most of that again and feel more like my old shape so wouldn’t say I’ve noticed weight gain; more the other way.
Mood swings reduced and no more tiredness! Feel so much better Easy to take …hopefully this will carry on working for me
No hot flashes. I do have fatigue at times but not sure it’s from this drug. No vaginal dryness or painful sex which was a fear of mine entering menopause. I am nervous about the chance of it causing cancer.
Excellent for hot flashes , my hair seems to be shedding a lot more since I’ve started it and I’ve also gained a lot of weight but it does help with sleep and nite sweats.
On bujuva for 6 months. Excellent response. 20 years of pre menopause and menopause symptoms reduced significantly: hot flashes 24/7, bloating, sleep loss, dry hair and weight gain. No regrets!

Medication, over 2 months, put me into a severe depression and suicidal state. I had been on HRT before and I'm still on it, so it wasn't just HRT. It was specifically Bijuva. I have no doubt it's great for some, but if you're depressed, don't feel like yourself, feel despair, come off and talk to your doctor. I got 100% better in days. Also, it gave me gallbladder pain.
Started taking this medication a month ago, in hopes that it would help me sleep better. Not only has it not helped whatsoever, but I feel bloated and have gained several pounds! UGH! Who needs that? ??
I have been using BiJuva for about two weeks. Every day, I have woken up with a severe migraine. My moods are unstable. I cry, and then I get enraged. And my face has broken out with a rash and blisters. The hot flashes and cold sweats have stopped. However, I will take the hot flashes and cold sweats over the horrible experience I have had with this medication. I have opted to go back on birth control. The side effects for me have been excruciating.
