Dosage Considerations – Should be Given as Follows:
Multiple Sclerosis (Orphan)

- Fampridine-SR: 10 mg orally every 12 hours
Spinal Cord Injury (Orphan)
- Data limited
- 9-15 mg/hour continuous intravenous (IV) infusion for approximately 2 hours, OR
- 24 mg total cumulative dose, administered as 2 mg IV every 20 minutes (slow IV push or continuous infusion)
Renal Impairment
- 90% excreted unchanged
- Decrease dose (specific guidelines unavailable)
Safety/efficacy not established in pediatric patients.
