Hand-foot syndrome can cause you to have numbness, tingling, or changes in feeling in the palms of your hands and soles of your feet. It may also cause a change in color, peeling, blisters, sores, swelling, or pain in your hands and feet. Call your health care provider right away if you have any of these symptoms and cannot do your usual activities.Cancer. Doxorubicin liposomal may cause a new oral cancer, such as squamous cell carcinoma. Tell your health care provider about any new symptoms that you may get.Tissue Damage. Doxorubicin liposomal is given as an infusion into a vein. If the medicine does not go into your vein, it could damage nearby tissue. Your infusion may need to be stopped, and you may need treatment to prevent further tissue damage. Tell your health care provider right away if you have pain, swelling, warmth, or skin color changes where the medicine is being or was given.Mouth Sores. Sores in the mouth can be common with doxorubicin liposomal but may be severe. Call your health care provider if you have any of the following.Severe mouth sores, color changes, or swellingPain when eating or drinkingBlood Disorders. Doxorubicin liposomal may cause low levels of a type of white blood cell (called neutrophils), which is known as neutropenia. Neutrophils help prevent infection. Having a low level of neutrophils may increase your risk of infection. Tell your health care provider right away if you get a fever or have a fever.Â
