I find it really helps with sinus drainage going on with hay fever. Just wish it lasted longer. Tempted frequently to use more than once a day, but don’t.

Absolutely horrible and terrifying for a parent. My 11 year old son started taking the prescription form of it a month ago. His mood gradually darkened until last week when he shared he contemplated suicide. Nothing would cheer him up. We spoke with a friend whose son had the same thing, so we took him off Flonase immediately. Within 2 days he was much better, and now a week later, he's cheerful again. I would NEVER have thought a nose spray would have such profound mental effects and didn't feel the manufacturer or his doctor warned us at all.

I began taking Flonase to ward off sinus problems during spring allergy season. But in the last couple of days I experienced frightening panic attacks which I have had only one other time in my life (a few years ago, which possibly also may have been caused by this drug). I can't positively connect the panic attacks to the use of Flonase but it's the only medication I am taking and the connection seems likely. I stopped taking Flonase this morning and threw the container away. I am hoping that my symptoms decrease and go away quickly because I've never felt so uncomfortable in my life.

Completely alleviated my allergic reactions to pollen. Absolute miracle worker. Can’t thank this product enough. I have pretty bad allergies and for this product to practically have cured me of my allergies is truly incredible.

Both me and my husband were having severe anxiety and mental issues from this! My husband was experiencing chest pain, feeling winded, and anxiety attacks which he never has. He has taken it so much that he developed a dependency on it, upon quitting he’s been having anxiety and panic attacks. Again, not like him at all. The doctors say you should take this everyday! NO WAY! I talked to a Teledoc Dr and he said this can cause fungal infections! Warned me not to take it. I personally have PTSD issues, on this, made me feel almost psychotic. I thought I was losing my freaking mind! I put two and two together and saw so many had the same issues as me. You name it, anxiety, depersonalization, tremor, sweating. I want to SUE THIS COMPANY. I missed out on half an entire months pay at my job because of this stuff I AM SO MAD. Been 3 days off of it and I’m better, husband still struggling!

My sinuses were awful so I bought it otc. After starting it my anxiety and panic attacks were like never before. My husband took me to the ER last night it was so bad. They done a full work up and said everything was good except my bp was 160/107. They got it down and sent me home. At 4am I started looking into the side effects of this medication. It’s unreal how many people have felt like this. Extreme anxiety, back to back panic attacks, crawling skin, light headed, dizzy, severe nausea and dirreah. I will never touch it again.

I have only been using this 3 days, I also started a blood pressure medicine but the dose was to high (lowered now). I thought that's what triggered my panic attack but I haven't had one in 20 or more years. And I only ever had one. I knew something must be up and having read another reviewers similar experience now I know why. I'm almost certain this caused or made one easier to have. I won't be using it again. I'm amazed someone wrote out a similar experience.

I want to chime in with others, i had anxiety, insomnia, became agitated and confrontational with coworkers and patients. This was not me!!! For my husband, it was overwhelming anxiety, agitation, and confusion. I have always been sensitive to steroids and I figured out years ago, not to take this. Husband does fine on steroids, yet he experienced almost a psychotic episode on this. We did not figure it out immediately. But a couple days off of it, by my suggestion, he began to regain his mental stability. Not all the way there yet. Fingers crossed.

When I told my PCP I was experiencing anxiety and panic attacks, she automatically wanted to write a script for an anti-anxiety med (of course). I had been having ear pain, nausea, fatigue and some vertigo. After seeing an ENT and having multiple tests run, it was through my own research that I discovered the flonase side-effects and immediately stopped taking it. I feel better every day and I hope you all do too! I don't wish this on anyone but I am glad I'm not the only one...ENT told me it was all in my head.

I NEVER write reviews but I had to for this. I started taking this suggested by my doctor for ear pressure and pain. I am not kidding when I say this medication made me feel HORRIBLE. My anxiety was at an all time high and I had a pounding headache for a week straight with no relief from anything. I haven’t had a panic attack in years and had 3 while taking it. I stopped taking it yesterday after a week and a half and I am already starting to feel like myself again. My headache is almost completely gone already. DO NOT TAKE THIS.

Honestly, this drug is a miracle relief for dry sinuses that no other allergy medication has helped me with. Haven't noticed any obvious side effects from taking this over 15 years now.

I believe this medication gave me very res and sore eyes, an extremely dry mouth and throat, extreme fatigue and horrendous anxiety. Only after reading these reviews Domi realise I was right. Stopped taking it yesterday. Such a shame as definitely helped with my screaming sinuses. Not good experience at all.

My doctor suggested that I stop taking tablets, and address my runny sinuses at the source with Flonase. I like that I don't have to treat my whole body with a swallowed tablet to keep my sinuses drier, I know other similar products have no fragrance but I like the fragrance, and Flonase does not "attack" the back of my tongue with lingering "bitter dryness" - after my morning misting, I forget all about it until evening when I take another spray - because it has no lingering "signature" taste or smell.

I stopped using flonase a week ago, as I moved to a new location that does not have the trees and grass that bothered me, and my anxiety has decreased significantly. The tightness in my chest is gone now too. I have not had any allergy symtoms either.

Took this about 3 weeks to relieve sinus and ear pressure with seasonal allergies, was doing ok with this but started to feel short of breath and nose dried out, constricted feeling in throat one morning. Suddenly was in a full blown panic attack, heart racing, shallow breathing numbness in limbs, uncontrollable shaking, this all while driving so had to pull over and start deep breathing for about 20 min until symptoms subsided. I suspected this had something to do with the Flonase and after doing research am realizing this is a very common side effect that is NOT listed in the insert for this medication. Stopped taking immediately and never will again. I'm not even someone with chronic anxiety and this was one of the scariest experiences of my life. Have always been told to take this by drug by physicians and NPs for upper respiratory ailments or to help inner ear drainage, one even told me to push through the symptoms of nausea or jitters and take at least 6 weeks to get full effects. I will def steer clear of this from now on.
