GUAIFENESIN/DEXTROMETHORPHAN/DECONGESTANT - ORAL

I was given a few samples by my Primary Dr when I was sick as all get out from a cold, hay fever or what ever. He wasn't sure or was I but it was pretty much a cold I guess and I needed some relief! This stuff worked wonders! I could BREATH again! Di it make me sleepy? Not sure since all I wanted to do was sleep anyway because i hadn't the past few nights at all, so I really couldn't tell. Did I get relief? You better believe it! Pharmacist told me I could get the same thing by getting 5 different drugs that you have to sign for and they have to give to you! Insurance didn't pay for it either. It cost me $50 bucks. Was it worth it?? Oh yeah! Like I said, it cleared me up within an hour and it lasted a long time, I'd say at least 8-10 hours. This is great medicine for colds and whatever, it worked for me!

It works well for the cough, but it makes me sleepy, and it is harder to wake up in the morning. Also, after taking it for two weeks it makes my right kidney hurt and I have a spasm like pain in my urethra. I did not take it one night so as to get up early, I coughed a lot more, but my kidney quit hurting.
