I used it as emergency contraception after contraceptive failure. Even though it was my ovulation time it worked and period came with some side effects.

I used Ella after unprotected sex. 12 hours later my period came and it was the worst one Iâ??ve ever had. my back pain was 5x my normal pain and the cramps were unbearable. The night after taking ella, I had a pretty severe migraine that made me super nauseous and lightheaded for hours. It felt like I had mono all over again. No, iâ??m not pregnant but those side effects were worse that a plan b pill.

I won?t know if this was effective until I get my period. I took it last night (this morning) at 1am, slept very well, and had maybe one or two waves of nausea throughout the day today. I also almost cried about eating garlic bread at dinner, and realized it was due to the hormones (just like pregnancy emotions). Overall a good experience and I didnâ??t feel much different. The only reason con I would have is that this is an RX only medication and i would have been able to take it sooner if it was over the counter.

i took the pill yesterday afternoon and started to feel slight cramping at random moments throughout the day. I am sure that the product worked.
