I was given this drug for pain after a minor surgery. It did nothing to stop the pain and it made me so anxious. I was freaking out and pacing around my house for hours after taking two pills. I was told by the doctors that I had an "adverse reaction" to the drug.

I was taking 7.5 oxycodone for about a year. On my last visit to the Dr. she read someone else's results saying that Vicodin would work better for me. Since she had already written the script I decided to try it. It may ease my pain slightly for about an hour and a half. Different Dr prescribed Nucyta, it's supposed to last longer. Just started it yesterday and it doesn't seem to work well. We will see. I'll probably end up going back on the Oxycodone, which does not last more than three hours. I have tried everything for my chronic back pain. I hope someone can help me find something that works.

Very good for my pain. First used following eye surgery in 1992. Had 8 pills left which I am using for my horrible L1 fracture. It seems to be best pain killer I have tried, even though the pills are 22 years old. I do NOT drink, smoke or take drug addict type drugs (like marijuana). Will be 65 next month and my body is starting to give me some grief. This was originally given to me as a prescription and don't think it's available as an over-the-counter item. Be careful how much you take since it does have acetaminophen in it. Seems to take from 20 minutes to 90 minutes to start working, so don't over do it if it doesn't work right away. This is one person's opinion.
