Do not waste your money! I have bronchitis and after 3 days of no sleep due to a cough I went to a dr. They prescribed Tuzistra XR suspension. I was desperate and paid $116 for this cough syrup (with coupon that my insurance wouldn't accept) only to be highly disappointed. I have taken triple the dosage with zero relief. Stick with Promethazine. Tuzistra is nothing but sugar water. Don't waste your time or money.

This medication is very expensive, $256.00 and the insurance does not cover it and nevertheless it does not work. I went to the doctor because I had a very bad cough and nothing over the counter was working. My Dr. recommended Tuzistra XR Suspension and as you can see. I spent $80.00 with coupon from Dr. and I am coughing worst. PLEASE DO NOT GET FOOLED like I did.
