Have had varying degrees of asthma for over 50 years. This is the first preventive drug that has helped. The delivery system doesn't work well and could use improvement. Storing the capsules in the refrigerator significantly helps the delivery system. Note that my asthma hasn't been severe since I was a kid, but any difficulty breathing is horrible when it occurs. None of the steroid inhalants helped at all.

Have been taking for 2 years. Only problem is with the capsule and how med is delivered. Sometimes the capsule separates and I'm not sure it delivered the dose. Would be nice if they could use a system like Anoro Ellipta.

I've been taking Foradil for a year for COPD and I've been able to reduce my albuteral use from every 2 hours to an average of once a day. My only problem with this drug is getting defective capsules. Some separate when I start my inhalation and the medication is wasted.

Medicine works well but they seriously need to fix the capsule delivery system. Literally 50% of the time the capsule fails to spin in the cartridge. Very annoying and prevents proper dose.

Was working well. Could Play tennis, etc. Suddenly I got sick with a lung infection which was treated by antibiotics; that cleared up; now I have low blood pressure readings (103/59) and feel chilled all day. At night, I sweat in bed until morning. Always feel tired. Still

This medicine has truly been miraculous for me. I was taking 6 nebulizing treatments daily (Albuterol/Ipatropium and Budesnide), Spireva and ProAir, with all this I was still having difficulty breathing and on oxygen most of the day. Have been taking Foradil for two months and now no longer take Budesnide nebulizing medication, only use oxygen at night and have more energy and feel better than I have in over two years. This medication has made such a difference in my quality of life - it is truly wonderful.

The only negative experience I have with the Foradil is the Aerolizer itself. Sometime when I insert the capsule, it may or may not puncture the capsule. I think it needs to be upgraded. But as far as the medication goes, it has done wonders for me. Thanks God for Merck..

i have used this medication for several years and untill recently have had o issues however i will be consulting my physcian, i have stepped up my effort to loose weight by changing my diet and riding a bicycle for about 3 months. within in the last 2 weeks i have noticed a change while riding. i have had to use my rescue inhailer a few times. im hoping its only a cold or infection. prior to the medication works great along with my azmacort inhailer.

using forasil for 18 months in place of advair. I also use asmanex with it. this was provided by the V.A and seems to work fairly well.

The only negative experience I have with the Foradil is the Aerolizer itself. Sometime when I insert the capsule, it may or may not puncture the capsule. I think it needs to be upgraded. But as far as the medication goes, it has done wonders for me. Thanks God for Merck..

I have just started using this medication. I stopped using "Advir" because it would cause a yeast infection in the back of my throat, even though I used a mouth wash after I used the inhailer. I would like to know how other people like or dislike "Foradil".

I have been diagnosed with COPD and have tried several different inhaler products. Most of them have steroid compund and I have an allergic reation to it. Foradil has helped quite a bit. AlsoI have become more active and lost 18lbs. which help quite a bit with my breathing.

This medication was HORRIBLE for me. I had a massive negative reaction causing insomnia, panic attacks, and worsening of my asthma. I discontinued after 2 days. I highly, highly reccommend thoroughly discussing with your doctor other options. I am actually amazed that they placed me on this drug as I had heart palpitations with the Advair and they are in the same drug class. I am now on an anti-anxiety med and cannot wait for this junk to clear my system.
