I have been taking this med for 15 years and have not experienced any problems.
Have had some "heat flashes" or "sweat fits" that seemed to show up after. After hormone treatment with Lupron. However the Lupron treatment ceased some three years ago. Some has suggested that metoprolol tartae may be the source of the problem

I have taken several different medications for high blood pressure with little or no effect. Lopressor works for me and has kept my blood pressure under control for over 15 years.
