Did not achieve result of emptying bladder completely and reducing number of wake up events. Doctor increased to dosage events every 8 hours, but still very unsatisfied result.

I'm taking this for gastroparesis (including esophageal and intestinal). This, along with AciPhex™, has helped greatly with my GI symptoms. I'm not crazy about the form of the drug: it's an uncoated tablet, and can stick a bit going down. It's a simple annoyance, not a big problem. I'm content with it because it works. OTOH... due to overall muscle degeneration overall, it keeps me running to the w/c all the time, because the primary prescribed use is for increased muscle effectiveness for the bladder. I'd just as soon not have that!

Medication has been effective and easy to use. I seem to have a problem being more emotional than usual and wonder if it contains a hormone. I have been taking it for 2 months and have fewer problems but it's hard to tell if my bladder is emptying well. Just going less often and more comfortable.

Medication caused severe salivation, drop in blood pressure, dehydration, I was cold, but perspiring, eventually caused me to pass out. Fortunately, I was in the hospital at the time or I would have died.
