I started taking this for the first time this month and it was unbelievable! I started single injections on day 8 & 9, of my cycle. On days 10, 11, 12, 13 & 14 I had 2 injections per day, one in each arm in the mornings. It was painful but WOW did it ever work. I went from having 7mm & 8mm follicles to 18, 19 & 20. In Febuary 2007 had ovarian drilling then in May used medicine with a good out come became pregnant with one baby. I have pcos with no ovulation. I recomend this medicine not because of pregnancy alone but it did stimulate ovaries right away. W ith other medicine I had to increase medicine often to get any results.

I gave myself injections with the follistim pen. I work in a hospital and I am a nursing student so it was easy for me to use. I had previously taken a pill to stimulate follicle grow and did not respond. Taking the follistim I responded right away. My follicles started in the 3-4cm range and with in 3-4 weeks I had one on each ovary grow to 20 cm. I hope that this helps.
