• Adults and children over 1 year of age - topical: Apply to the affected area every 6-8 hours

Pregnancy and Lactation

• Use gentamicin topical with caution during pregnancy if benefits outweigh risks. Animal studies show risk and human studies are not available or neither animal nor human studies were done.
• Gentamicin topical is excreted in breast milk. There are no adverse effects on nursing infants. Consult your doctor before breastfeeding.
