I have breast implants. I started having breast pain. Was actively searching for Dr to remove them. Stopped taking Meloxicam and the pain went away.

Shoulder pain for months. Loss of motion, too. Started Physical Therapy 5 weeks ago that got me 40 % less pain and better range of motion. After 3 days of meloxicam I am up to 80% less pain and Range of motion. No side effects except makes me sleepy so I take in the evening with food and lots of water.

I have seven mental illnesses and My Doctor (physical not psychiatric) prescribed this med. He told me that it does not react with mental illness medications. I had vivid dreams of being tortured for what seemed like months. I am scared to sleep still and I quit taking it. My Doctor does not seem to care.

I have bone on bone and knee replacement surgery is scheduled next month. My surgeon prescribed this medication to help with the pain while waiting for my knee replacement. I was prescribed 15 MG once a day in the morning. This really worked for me so far. Pain is still noticed but is now manageable. And with a cane I am now very mobile. No side effects except a little raise in BP. I KNOW this isn't for everybody, as noted in some reviews. But this medication is working for me

Took after suffering a fall resulting in a compression fracture of vertebra. Pill very tiny which made if difficult to swallow; felt like it was still in air way above roof of mouth. Also caused constipation; so be sure to eat lost lots of fruit and vegetables as well as fluids. didn't seem to relieve pain as much as over the counter Acetaminophen. Do not take Ibuprofen when takin the Meloxicam

I feel like it gave me an ulcer. Had to take twice a day for 2 weeks after knee replacement but still feel nauseous, burning sensation in stomach and no appetite 2 weeks after getting off of it. Not sure it really helped because I have lots of pain and still do.

I was given this medication for heel spurs and never will I use it again. Dizzy a hour into taking it. I didn't realize your not supposed to have caffeine when on it. I also have diarrhea and stomach pain. I'll take ibuprofen if my heel spurs are acting up for now on. Be careful if you are on a antidepressant with this medicine too. It's not recommended.

Upon taking the first dose of medication my throat felt like it was closing. I was rushed to the ER and treated for an allergic reaction. Days later my skin on my hands, legs, feet, face is peeling. My hands, legs and feet are painfully swollen. I have never been allergic to NSAID's so there was no contraindication to take this medication. I can no longer take NSAID's.

Using it in conjunction with opioid. I had neck & spinal cord surgery 2 months ago. I have degenerative disk disease. They upped dose of meloxicam to 15mg/day. I liked the smaller dose spread out. The higher dose makes me feel like an elephant is on my chest so I only take it when I ABSOLUTELY need it. Thats what the doc said for me. It helps with pain but definitely need to eat first and drink plenty of water! Water is best friend while taking it! I definitely have to take it a couple of hours before or after my other medications.

Prescribed today for severe pain in thumb joint. Took one tablet & will NEVER take another. Over the course of the next few hours following my first dose, I had considerable pressure in my head, identical to that I always get when my BP has been raised significantly. I felt a weight on my chest, and I'm writing this in the middle of night (INSOMNIA), when I have always slept through the night & have NEVER before had difficulty sleeping. (I always joke that sleeping is the one thing that I'm really good at - not tonight !!!) I do NOT want to feel like this again & will NOT be taking another tablet !!!

Meloxicam was prescribed for pain in my thumb joint by a hand doctor. I am amazed at how much it has relieved the arthritis pain in my knees! Very noticeable! I am very active and exercise every day. I am able to be on my feet and walk further distances without pain. I am also getting out of bed pain free. Before the taking Meloxicam, I was very stiff after sleeping and sitting for longer periods, not now! No side effects.

I'm on day 29 of 30 taking Meloxicam to help with inflammation of my sciatica pain. Within three days of taking this, the pain was dramatically less in the morning, and a couple of acetaminophen would take care of that. I did have some diarrhea from time to time but not so bad that Imodium wouldn't fix. I'm hoping that the next few days will not have the pain coming back since I'm finishing my prescription tonight.

Took one dose and had explosive diarrhea and stomach pain that night. Very unusual. However my joint pain was less. I will try again when needed and see if that first experience was the result of the medication and something else. The jury is still out on this medication for me.

The first week, all hand joint pain was relieved. Then I noticed I had trouble breathing on the elliptical machine. After about two weeks I had difficulty breathing when I was walking. I stopped the medication immediately and my lung function improved.

This drug has been a life saver! I stand and walk, close to 8-10 miles a day,for my job. About a little over a yr ago, both my knees started hurting me & it was hard to get my job done, I could barely walk but since taking this, I can do most everything again without the pain &suffering of my horrible knee pain! I love it! However the only thing is I get frequent headaches & ibuprofen is the only thing that really helps with the headaches & since they said don't take ibuprofen with it, it's a little more challenging to curb my headaches but I'll take that over the knee pain!
