I had part of my pancreas and small intestine removed last fall. It wasn’t until a few months later I was told I had diabetes. Hence, also taking Creon 36,000. I’ve been thru cancer and chemo had left me with neuropathy in my feet. Lately it has been pretty bad, besides of being a lot more dizzy too!! I’ll turn around and bang right into a wall, I loose my balance. Even when using bathroom, get up and fall into the wall while pulling up my pants! Doctors don’t give me clear ( or probably truthful) answers and I want to know. I’ve been thru SO much the past 15 years. I’m not sure what I am supposed to feel taking Creon. I had a Whipple, and my tummy is always hurting. Sometimes I almost want to cry, as I can’t get comfortable in bed.

I have endocrine pancreatic dysfunction. I had a gastric pull up 12 yrs. ago & have had abnormal bowel movements ever since. My GI doc discovered my condition & after taking it for just a couple of weeks, it has made a tremendous difference & I feel better I'm sure it's because my body is finally absorbing the nutrients I'm eating. Even though it's been a short time & things could change, but I've had no side effects.

Went from constant diareah and nausea to constipation with this med. I feel better and my two main ailments are almost completly gone. Citrucel helps with the constipation. I still suffer from bloating in the stomach and fatige. I'm also on Bentyl. I have constant gastritis and this is the best I've been since my gallbladder was removed. I'm hoping to get better and healthier with this med.

My husband has Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer. He started out taking 2, Creon 10 with meals, but his food was not digesting completely. He had to take 3-4 Creon 10 for his food to digest. The Creon digested his food, but he always had nausea and vomiting about 30 minutes to 1 hour afterwards. But, when he vomited it was always liquids. He has taken about 8 chemo (Gemzar)treatments, so I had him to cut the Creon to 2 with each meal, and 1 with a snack. He has not had any vomiting since the dosage has been decreased. New that the vomiting has subsided he has gain 11 lbs., and is doing remarkably well.

Post Operative Pancretitus.. less than 10 per cent left. Take four w/each meal and two or three with a snack. Started in Aug 1985 till present. Usually have cramping after first meal in morning (lower left quadrant)Usually four trips to bathroom, then bowel settles down for the rest of the day. If I don't eat 6 or 7 times a day. cramping returns, but not as harsh. Then again passes..I've held steady at 184 pounds, and eat anything I want. I do take Tramadol for discomfort when riding in a car/lawnmower etc.. the constant vibration is bothersome, this eases of the discomfort. I can physically do about anything I want.

I have been sick with stomach upset for 2 1/2 months, blood test showed high lipase. Had more blood work done, MRCP, Gastroscopy, all normal except my lipase which continued to remain high. I have been on this for a week, and have had no stomach problems at all. My specialist's intent is to "rest" my organs/digestive track, and then see if I still need the medication or not.

i don't feel it's helping me regain my appetite as doctor told me it would, iam underwieght and need to regain weight i have been on creon 10 for 2months and have only gained 10 pounds. the reason for this i had gastric bypass surgery 15months ago but got a real bad stomach flu during winter time and allergies, and bronchitis, with lots of flam which contributed to my appetite not eating while under medication. loss more wieght then i should have, now i need to regain at least 25 pounds. my immune sympton its very low. althought i'm strong not giving in to weakness. i still take all vitamins i need and i'm on a high protien diet at least 80gr daily, to regain. is there certain foods i should eat that would benefit me with creon 10?

Though this medicine effectively helps in controling the illness but (as a side effect) causes upset stomach/diarreah and twisting pain during bowel movement
