Pau d'arco is an herbal supplement claimed to be anti-cancer and antimicrobial, especially anti-candida. Other uses for pau d'acrco include diabetes, ulcers, stomach inflammation (gastritis), liver ailments, asthma, bronchitis, joint pain, hernias, boils and wounds. Some people see pau d'arco as a "tonic and blood builder." It is also used to treat anemia.

- 1-4 g/per day divided twice-three times per day, use no more than 7 days
- 1 tsp bark steeped in boiling water, 2-8 times per day
- Dose based on lapachol content; lapachol intake should be 1.5-2.0 g/day

This medication contains pau d'arco. Do not take La Pacho or Tabueia avellanedae if you are allergic to pau d'arco or any ingredients contained in this drug.
Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.
Contraindications
- Avoid the use of hypersensitivity, intravenous use, hypervitaminosis A, malabsorption syndrome (oral therapy), and pregnancy (recommended daily average).
