It was recommended by my allergy Doctor and it helped boost my immune and I have not gotten sick for 6 months which is the first 6 time in 6 months I've been free of catching sinus infections or colds.

My husband got talked into it by doctor. The doc really was pushing him to get it. Hubby asked will there be any bad side effects because he had to go to work at 4am thenext day. Doc and nurse both said he shouldn't have. Well they lied. He ran 102 temp that night and still went to work. His whole body by noontime hurt from top of head to bottom of feet plus he was burning up and nauseated. He came home early and ended up having to take off next day too because no energy and whole body aches where he was shaking. This is day 4 and fever has let up a little but bad body aches. He was not at high risk so they should have not pushed this or at least not lie to him and say he may and what to expect. He will never trust them again and no more shots. He would have waited till a Friday to get it, he said. But they both acted like he wouldn't have any reaction. Not reccomended during the week. Gonna need 3 to 4 days to recoup

5 years apart my PR actioner recommended my 2nd Pneumonia shot. Never again! It is now Day 6 of the 2nd Vaccine shot side effects . Arm was sore but what happened the first day after was a sore throat and Flu like symptoms all with in the first 18 hours. 99.7 - 100 F low Fever ,Vomit ,Diarrhea Sneezing, draining sinuses, continuous headaches ,no cough yet day 2-3 was the same and not getting but a couple of hours sleep sitting up in a recliner just made the fatigue worse. No energy for days as I sat on the couch freezing during Easter Sunday yesterday, The congestion went to my chest day 4 & 5 (Saturday and Sunday) . Hospital an hour away and on a holiday weekend would leave me stuck there until The doctors return, today. I was told 2-3 days for worse case scenario side effects. I am afraid to cough it hurts in the chest and snaps the base of the skull like a pinched headache.. I will get an x-ray today and. I expect to hear I have pneumonia ,after the claim you can't get pneumonia from the Vaccine. Another buried file. What are they doing to us ? I feel like a lab test animal..

Got this vaccine as recommended by immunologist due to some health complications. Experienced excruciating arm pain the first night of injection. Felt like my shoulder was dislocated, but by day 3 I had no arm pain. I’m also experiencing fleeting moments of chest palpitations, chest pains, and lingering shortness of breath. Hoping those symptoms subside as well.

Update to my experience with this vaccine. Day 7 trip to Emerg. Tachycardia and shortness of breath. 41.3 fever. Bloodwork, ecg, chest xray and CT reveal pneumonia!!! I was in excellent health prior to the vaccine.

I am a 53 year old cancer survivor and this vaccine was recommended by my family MD due to antibody def and splenectomy. I was offered this vaccine 4 days ago. Symptoms started later that day with arm pain traveling to the back of my head. As of today, I'm still feeling head pain, have a fast heart rate and have a fever of 40.3 after acetaminophen and ibuprofen. Not fun!

Yesterday morning I took pneumovax 23 first time. I had neither any side effects nor any pain. I am quite normal as if I didn't take any vaccine. I am in confusion whether the vaccine is working or not.

I got the pneumonia shot 2 days ago. My arm and the rest of my body was really sore. It was really a bad night. I forced myself to go to the pool the next morning but I was dragging myself all day. My doctor recommended it because I would be around my grandsons and didn't want me to get sick. I have asthma. I would recommend that you do research before you get it. I had no reaction for the first one.

I was advised by my Dr. to get the vaccine because I am asthmatic. I received the vaccine at around 7pm and at around 10pm I started to feel dizzy and my chest and shoulders were hurting and it seemed like my airways were closing up. I told my Dad I thought I was having a bad reaction to the vaccine and he panicked and called 911. When the EMTs got here they looked at me like I was crazy and took me to the hospital where they told the staff I was having a panic attack so the staff basically ignored me. The Dr. was nice but she didn’t believe me basically. While I was there I developed the worst headache and even my teeth were hurting (wasn’t having any sinus issues prior to vaccine). The Dr. was like oh let me get you some Sudafed sounds like a sinus headache. I was like no I think it’s the vaccine. So basically they made me think I was crazy and since my vitals were back to normal they sent me home. Next day had the worst body aches and headache, jaw pain, I could not get out of bed. It is now day 4 and I’m still achy in my arms, shoulders, chest, back and still extremely fatigued. Hoping this doesn’t last much longer. Worst vaccine reaction I’ve ever had!

Massive reaction that swelled my entire arm significantly. Started in the upper arm and traveled down into my hand over 4 days. Took about 6 days to recover. Sent me to urgent care and then to the emergency room and the doctors had no idea what was going on. I never had anything but a mild reaction to all other vaccines.

Within 5-6 hours, I started severe chills and shaking, 100.2 fever, extreme headache, pain all over my body- muscles and joints. No appetite. I am very sorry I got this shot- I knew in advance that friends warned me of multiple issues, so I got the shot in “my back hip”…. I developed a 4-5 inch large, raised and bumpy, extremely sore double bulls eye where I got the shot. It’s hard to sit or drive my car. I do not recommend this at all. It’s been 3 days…. Just horrible!

Horrible side effects.,, 6 hours after injection.. red arm, pain like I’ve never experienced before with a vaccine.. arm double normal size.. hard red skin … headache, body ache, insomnia for 2 days. I called pharmacist and was told I’d be ok.. thought I had cellulitis in my arm!!! Never ever get this vaccine take your chances.. not worth it! I’m still experiencing issues from vaccine!!

I had a Pneumonia shot 6 years ago with no issues. Today I had my second shot and I am in SO MUCH PAIN. I CAN'T MOVE MY ARM, when I say the pain is Severe I mean it is intolerable!! I have a large redness surrounding the shot area, a severe head ache and body aches. I hope this does not persist. It's Horrible.

Since I don't know the effectiveness, I marked 3 stars to be neutral. Reviews here helped me a lot after I got the shot the other day, so I wanted to return the favor with this review. I got the shot (23) on Monday afternoon and felt no different till late evening. Shot itself had more than a bit of " sting, but not too bad. Pain started Monday evening and I could not move my upper arm. But I felt sleepy earlier than usual and had a good sleep. Tuesday was a wasted day, highly unusual but I even took a nap. As long as I kept my arm next to my side, no problem. There are lots of things you need your upper arm for - like changing clothes, showering, etc. Almost normal by Wednesday Evening. I am glad my doctor gave me this shot.

I got the Pneumovax 23 vaccine on Thursday, September 8, 2022 as a second pneumonia shot. I had the first one a year ago with no problem. Not so with this one! It’s important to note that I’ve had many vaccines in the past including a yearly flu shot, all Covid vaccines required as well as others. I am a 66 year old healthy female. After this pneumonia shot on Thursday my arm became sore and hurt all night so I couldn’t sleep. It swelled, turned red and very warm to the touch by Friday morning. I took Tylenol and used ice that didn’t seem to help. It became very painful. It is now Saturday and it’s no better. I have pockets of what appears to be fluid around my elbow and the redness and swelling has moved down my arm. It’s still very painful, hot to touch, swollen and I have had fatigue for 2 days now. Why in the world would seniors be advised to take this horrible vaccine?? It’s worse than having pneumonia! I just hope I don’t end up with any permanent damage. I’d like to join in on the class action suite if anyone has the information.
