Shark Cartilage

Dosages of Shark Cartilage

Dosage Considerations – Should be Given as Follows:

Commercial products suggest doses ranging from 500 mg-4.5 grams given orally in 2-6 divided doses daily

Side effects of shark cartilage include:

• Dark urine
• Excessive fatigue
• Extreme itchiness
• Nausea
• Diarrhea
• Pain or swelling in the upper right part of the abdomen
• Yellowing of the skin or white parts of eyes
• Constipation
• Dizziness
• Changes in taste
• Low blood pressure
• Upset stomach
• Vomiting
• Weakness

  • juice (fruit)
  • leflunomide
  • thalidomide

Warnings

• This medication contains shark cartilage. Do not take AE941, Neovastat, or U995 if you are allergic to shark cartilage or any ingredients contained in this drug.
• Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.
