Poison. Sent me by ambulance to the ER. Fainting, nausea, and vomiting. I am a very healthy male in my late 40s.

The directions stated this medication tasted like cranberry juice, I will tell you that is a complete lie, there was nothing about the concoction that tasted anything like cranberries or the juice of the cranberries. I had to hold my nose and chug the bottle at once and then chug a bottle of water, it was so disgusting. But, this med was very effective. I was clean as a whistle the next morning after the second bottle, with no cramping or gas. I just wish the taste was more tolerable.

Horrible taste like concentrated cough syrup. I threw up a little out of my nose! The taste coated my throat, teeth , tongue, gums, and nasal membranes. I had to take Tylenol and later Tums. This was the worst nightmare ever!

The easiest medicine to go down. I was dreading my latest colonoscopy, but this medicine was in small bottles and didn't taste bad at all. I really don't get the bad reviews. Highly recommended.

The prep I had was cranberry & it was awful. The worst experience I had with Colonoscopy prep so far. It was too sweet and I gagged on every sip I took. I tried multiple beverages to use as a chaser, still really bad. My doctor said my colon was not completely clean. And that is with a laxative prep 2 days b4 the procedure. I will not use this prep again!

I read all these negative reviews just after I’d drunk my first bottle, so was a little worried. I didn’t find the bottle any harder to open than aspirin bottles these days. I chugged the bottle, so really didn’t dwell on the taste. It was a little salty, a little citrus-y…much better than those gallons I had for previous colonoscopies. The cleanse was complete. I had one dose at 6 pm, drank the 5 cups of water required to follow that and was in bed at 10:30. I slept through the night with not problem. I took the second dose at 7 am, followed by 4 cups of water over the next hour and was done by 11, in plenty of time for my 12:15 appointment. I thought it was a much better, easier cleanse than I’d had before.

First of all, I shouldn't have to use an ice pick and hammer to get the top off. Ridiculous. . . . But worse, the crap didn't work and NOW I have to go in for a SECOND colonoscopy. Thanks A LOT for wasting four days of my precious time.

Absolutely the worst. I have to repeat the colonoscopy because, despite following the directions assidulously, I had an unproductive cleanse. Only 60% of the bowel was clearly visible after starting the cleanse at 5 pm and having the procedure the following day at 1:30 pm. Nausea and major headaches followed. I am 5’3” and 100 pounds and eat a clean diet. This was a waste of time and money ($70 for the kit). Stick with miralax.

HORRIBLE. This was my third colonoscopy and my doctor prescribed Clenpiq. As many others have noted, the bottles were extremely difficult to open (I thought it was just me). The taste was really awful; almost unbearable. The nausea and cramping was intense. It didn't start to work until about 3 hours after I drank the first bottle, which I drank at 3pm. I was supposed to have the 2nd one at 8pm, but started it at 7, b/c I didn't want to be up half the night. I was very worried that my doctor wouldn't be able to do the procedure, but everything was fine. They can put astronauts on the moon, but they can't come up with a better prep for a routine procedure?! I told my doctor today that I will not be using this product again. It'll take me 5 years to recover. AWFUL.

Was terrified after reading reviews, but no need. Easiest prep I've ever used. Drank in one try with a straw at 3pm. A tad nauseous the first minute, but passed quickly. Sucked on lemon candy to dispel taste. Began working in 43 minutes. Went 6 times in 45 minutes. 8pm, second bottle. Began working 32 minutes. Went 8 times in 2 hrs. No cramping. A couple of times during the night, but slept well. Clear for procedure! Yes, it's expensive, but easy and effective.

The prep was easy to take and didn’t taste real bad. The problem I had was opening the bottles. They were adult proof. It took two of us each time to hold down n turn. Childproof is one thing but adult proof is not good. I had to wake the other person up to help

This is much easier than the traditional prep involving a combination of Laxatives and nasty tasting liquid. The dose (taste) is very easy on the taste buds, and it started working within 15 minutes. Cleaned out in 2 hours. I’ll recommend this over the traditional prep any day of the week.

Simply doesn't work. Drank more than a gallon of water with it. Just doesn't work

Had to take this for a routine colonoscopy. Was easy to take but I did not experience the "effects" that it claims to have. That should have been a warning sign for me. I went for my procedure and it was stopped minutes after starting because they said the colon was not clean and they were unable to proceed. I was rescheduled for the procedure and just found out that once again this is the medication they want me to take. Will see if it performs any better than the first time.

I was not clear by my app, time at 10:00. He did the test any way. This morning I had to go to the bathroom 3 times before leaving home, Had to stop at Mcdonalds and still go at Dr. office. After leaving Dr. office I thought I had gas. I did not have gas at the seven or eight places I stopped, It is still not gas. It is full blown diarhhea . I am on fire even with vaseline.

In my opinion, this product should be taken off the market. I followed all protocol and steps exactly as stated in the instructions, but developed a SEVERE migraine, dizziness, vomiting, and cold sweats. I literally felt like I had been poisoned. I also had no bowel movement for over six hours, and by the time everything started, it was 2:00 am, which resulted in me being violently sick and running to the bathroom all night. At the outpatient center the next morning, I had to be administered IV anti-nausea meds and IV tylenol. And to make everything even worse, Clenpiq didn't empty me completely, so I will need to schedule another procedure, which I am now terrified to do because I had such a horrible experience with the prep. No doctor should be prescribing this for a colonoscopy. Heed my warning... Clenpiq is the stuff nightmares are made of. It tastes gross too.

The solution was not effective for my recent colonoscopy. The solution was easy to consume and the steps were easy to follow, however the procedure was stopped due to incomplete emptying of the gastrointestinal tract.

The taste was horrible it took almost two hours to drink one bottle. This prep didn't work right away either. I knew I shouldn't have done the colonoscopy but I did and it had to be rescheduled because I was not cleaned out. That prep didn't work right away. The colyte is so much better.

I have to do a colonoscopy every 2 years, so I am very familiar with how to do the prep. I read the instructions, and was prepared to follow them. I drank both doses using a straw so I didn’t have to taste it. The first dose I took did absolutely nothing! No bowel movement at all after 4 hours. I looked online, and went ahead and took the second dose rather than waiting until morning. I had a couple of small bowel movements, but I knew from experience that the prep was not sufficient, and I saw the horror stories about procedures being cancelled due to insufficient prep! I ended up drinking epsom salts, and taking Dulcolax before going to bed. The following morning, I finally started having bowel movements and am now sufficiently clear in time for my procedure. If I had an early check-in time, I would not have been ready!

Yes, it cleaned me out. Violently and horribly. They need to warn you it will be violent and horrifying and that you should wear an adult diaper. It was very difficult to tolerate. Yet it did what it was supposed to, but made me super unwell.
