Ophthalmic Solution
- 0.05%/0.25%/0.2%
Dosage Considerations – Should be Given as Follows:
Ocular Redness and Irritation
- Indicated to temporarily relieve discomfort due to minor ophthalmic irritations and redness
- 1-2 drops in each eye as needed; not to exceed 4 doses/day
Administration
- Do not touch the tip of the container to any surface to avoid contamination
- Replace cap after each use
- Do not use if the solution changes color or becomes cloudy
- Remove contact lenses before use

Warnings
- This medication contains tetrahydrozoline/zinc sulfate/hypromellose ophthalmic. Do not take Rohto Ice or Rohto Relief if you are allergic to tetrahydrozoline/zinc sulfate/hypromellose ophthalmic or any ingredients contained in this drug.
- Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.

Cautions
- Discontinue use if the following occurs
- Eye pain
- Vision changes
- Unresolved redness or irritation
- The condition worsens or lasts more than 72 hours
- Tetrahydrozoline
- Narrow-angle glaucoma
- May cause temporary mydriasis
- Use caution in high blood pressure (hypertension), coronary artery disease, diabetes, and hyperthyroidism
Pregnancy and Lactation
- Tetrahydrozoline/zinc sulfate/hypromellose ophthalmic may be acceptable for use during pregnancy. Either animal studies show no risk but human studies are not available or animal studies showed minor risks and human studies were done and showed no risk.
- It is unknown if tetrahydrozoline/zinc sulfate/hypromellose ophthalmic is distributed in human breast milk.
- Pregnant or breastfeeding patients should seek the advice of a health professional before using over-the-counter (OTC) drugs.
