Dosage Considerations – Should be Given as Follows:

Analgesia for Minor Muscle/Joint Pain

  • Adults and children 2 years and older: Apply liberal amount topically to affected area and massage three/four times daily
  • Children under 2 years: Safety and efficacy not established

Side effects of Trolamine Salicylate include:

  • Blistering/peeling/redness/irritation at the application site

Warnings

This medication contains trolamine salicylate. Do not take Aspercreme Cream, Flex-Power Performance Sports, Myoflex Cream, or Sportscreme if you are allergic to trolamine salicylate or any ingredients contained in this drug.

Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.

Pregnancy and Lactation

Use trolamine salicylate during pregnancy with caution if benefits outweigh risks. Animal studies show risk and human studies are not available or neither animal nor human studies were done. It is unknown if trolamine salicylate is excreted in breast milk; use caution while breastfeeding.
